Dr. Shan L PAN is an Assistant Professor and the coordinator of Knowledge Management Laboratory in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Pan has research interests in the socio-organisational processes that underlie the interaction between information systems and their human and organisational contexts.

Jasmin SUMINSTRADO is the Director for Knowledge for Poverty Alleviation (KPA) Programs of CCLFI. Philippines, and is a moving force in the development, refinement, and application of the KPA framework on community-based projects. One of the pioneers of Knowledge Management in the Philippines, Ms. Suministrado has helped a number of organisations from the private, public and non-profit sectors in the conceptualisation and implementation of their KM and organisational learning projects and programs, including those for the United Nations Development Programme, the Peace and Equity Foundation, the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development, Bureau of Animal Industry, Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Malampaya Multipartite Monitoring Team. Ms. Suministrado has authored several papers on KM, management, and development economics commissioned by the USAID, IDRC, Poverty and Economic Policy Network, Asian Development Bank, and the Philippine Department of Science and Technology, among others. Findings of these researches have been presented to local and international conferences. Ms. Suministrado served as assistant professor at De La University where she introduced the course Strategic Knowledge Management. She holds a master's degree in business administration, with high distinction, and a bachelor of science degree in business economics, cum laude.
