This research attempts to investigate antecedents and consequences of top management succession in family-owned firms in Singapore. We are collecting primary data through survey questionnaire.

"Director pay and executive succession in Japanese companies: Relative effects of foreign and domestic owners"
Toru Yoshikawa

We investigate divergent effects of foreign and domestic owners on director pay and executive succession in Japanese firms. We theorize that foreign owners reduce director pay and enhance executive succession when firms underperform the industry, while domestic owners have no effects.
